Nuttallanthus canadensis (Blue Toadflax)

Nuttallanthus Canadensis, Blue toadflax, or the Canada toadflax is a species found across Eastern North America, from Ontario to Florida. The plant grows in bare areas or grasslands. Roadsides are suitable habitats for these plants, where I found it growing in the Pine-lands in New Jersey. They are also grown ornamentally in their native habitat and introduced in the western US and Europe, where they have naturalized.
